MEDIA ADVISORY – Missouri Mathematics and Science Coalition helps bring the Tornado Alley Outreach Tour to students across the state during STEM Week

 

The Missouri Mathematics and Science Coalition, in conjunction with Giant Screen Films and the National Science Foundation are working together to bring the Tornado Alley Outreach Tour to Florissant, Ferguson, Camdenton, St. Roberts, Rolla and Joplin. The tour includes screenings of the film in communities that would otherwise not have exposure to the film, vehicle tours, and interactive events with the VORTEX2 researchers that will help introduce students to exciting careers in science and meteorology.  Members of the media are welcome to attend any portion of the event.  Please contact the schools directly.
