Missouri Chamber announces plans to strengthen its political action committee through contract with Veritas Public Relations

The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has contracted with Veritas Public Relations to manage and significantly strengthen development efforts for its political action committee.

“We are excited to expand our efforts of protecting businesses in Missouri by flexing our muscle even more in the political arena,” said Daniel P. Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “Through our political influence and resources, the Missouri Chamber will become an even stronger force for employers, helping place more pro-jobs candidates in the Missouri Legislature.”

The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the state’s largest and most effective statewide business advocacy group, representing Missouri employers before the Missouri Legislature, courts and regulatory agencies.

“Our PAC gives Missouri employers, large and small, an opportunity to focus resources and target specific races and issues to make a real difference in the political and business climate in our state,” said Mehan.
